The book makes a clear case for the use of media creation as a central communication tool in learning. Mr Gliksman takes the reader through various forms of media creation and provides a range of really compelling examples of student centered media projects - everything from narrated slide shows to animation and green screen videos. One additional innovative feature of the book is that it uses augmented reality to demonstrate several student media projects. Readers can point their device at the printed image of a student project discussed in the book and it overlays ad plays the actual project media as if the video was right on the page itself. Incredible!
Overall, this book is a very easy to read and crammed with creative ideas for using media creation in education. I'd highly recommend it.

Beginners only.
By Amazon Customer
A very simple book, suitable for beginners but not remotely interesting or informative for more digital media aware teachers. I would give that book a miss. Sad I bought it, I could have spent the money on another book.
